Mogra Courtyard Candle

A 180 g soy-wax candle poured into a reusable ivory glass jar, scented with soft mogra fragrance and finished with a cotton wick. Its gentle floral scent makes it an inviting choice for evening rituals or a thoughtful housewarming gift.

Mogra is the flower of Indian summer evenings — strung into garlands, tucked into hair, floating in brass urlis. We built this fragrance to smell like the flower itself, not a room spray: creamy, green and quietly sweet, with a musky base that lingers after the flame is out.

Caring for your candle

• First burn: let the wax melt to the edges of the vessel (about one hour per 2.5 cm of width) so it never tunnels.
• Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every light for a clean, steady flame.
• Burn for up to 4 hours at a time, away from draughts, curtains, children and pets.
• Stop when 1 cm of wax remains, then wash and reuse the vessel for flowers, stationery or tealights.
