New Year's Eve at Home: Setting the Mood with Candlelight
Hosting the countdown? Black, gold and a hundred flickering lights — how to style a New Year's Eve at home.
Avnika Creations यांच्याकडून
More people are ringing in the New Year at home with close friends. Candlelight turns an ordinary living room into somewhere that feels like an occasion.
A black-and-gold palette
Black glass tumblers, gold tealights and metallic vessels like our Gilded Trio look like jewellery when lit — and photograph beautifully.
The table
- Tapers in candelabras for height.
- Gold tealights scattered between glasses — like champagne bubbles.
- Unscented candles on the dining table; scented ones elsewhere.
The signature scent
Light one statement candle in the living room an hour before guests arrive: Oud & Amber or Midnight Noir.
A midnight ritual
At midnight, ask everyone to light a tealight and say one wish for the year. It's simple, and people remember it.
A gift for the host
Our New Year Celebration Box is a gift they'll use that very night.
