Gift Packaging That's Beautiful and Kinder to the Planet
Reusable boxes, paper over plastic and vessels worth keeping — how we think about packaging, and what to ask your gift supplier.
By Avnika Creations
Gift packaging creates the first impression — and, too often, a bin full of plastic. Beautiful and responsible packaging aren't opposites.
What we do
- Keepsake boxes that people reuse for photos, letters and jewellery.
- Paper tissue and crinkle paper instead of plastic fillers.
- Reusable vessels — jars and tins designed to live on.
- Recyclable outer cartons.
Questions to ask any gift supplier
- Is the box reusable or recyclable?
- Is the filler paper or plastic?
- Can the vessel be reused?
- Can bulk orders ship in fewer, larger cartons?
Small swaps for corporate gifting
Choose one premium box over layers of wrapping; replace plastic ribbons with cotton; print cards on recycled paper. See our guide to reusing candle jars.
